Beach and projective space

Dear LJ,

Life is grand, as usual. I've kept myself busy - Anton and I did another marathon algebraic geometry session the past days. If I just work a few more problems about the cohomology of projective space, I will have at least looked at and worked problems on everything on my sylabus this summer.

Speaking of which, I distributed my sylabus yesterday. Yikes. I need to get with the whole organizational side of this. I want to take it September 5, and I haven't found an outside member or an analysis person for my committe. Everyone is out of town! Including me, which makes this difficult... I'm leaving for the beach in a few hours to hang out at Chris's Girlfriend Natalie's Parent's empty beach house:) Then back for a day or so to move into Nate's, and leaving to see a friend for a week.

In other news, I just bought a 250 gig hard drive. I will never have to burn a cd to back up pictures again, and I am back up to 60 gigs of music.

I need new contacts. And shoes. And clothes. I went to Ross, and they had a *single* pair of sandals (which naturally didn't fit). And sunglasses. Which don't do me much good without contacts..

Okay, gotta pack and write a few emails.

-D

Heh. yeah. Just wait till he starts taking digital movies. That'll eat up drive space pretty fast.

Hahaha.

For the record, I am down to 18%. I may just decide to start burning stuff. It's only a few dozen dvds :)

Dood! Natalie hosted awesome wine tastings at Mudd and Chris was this stellar student who wrote some colossal thesis with our Differential Geometer. Say hi for me!

Uh oh. I want to know what the stories are but I'm afraid to ask for some reason, because they probably involved me and alcohol.
